Personal Data

Personal data refers to information about you as a person, such as your name, address, and email address. You do not need to provide personal data to use our website. In some cases, we require your name, address, and additional details to provide the requested service.

This also applies when we send you information or respond to inquiries. In such cases, we will always inform you. We only store data that you have submitted to us automatically or voluntarily.

When using our services, we only collect the data necessary to provide the service. You may be asked for additional voluntary information. Whenever we process personal data, it is for the purpose of delivering our services or achieving our business goals.

When you visit our website, certain information may be stored for administrative and technical reasons. This may include the type and version of your browser, the date and time of access, and your dynamic IP address.

This data is anonymized and used only for statistical purposes or to improve our online services.

These anonymized data are stored separately from personal data on secure systems and cannot be linked to any individual. Your personal data remains protected at all times.

Automatically Stored Non-Personal Data

When visiting our website, we may store certain non-personal information for administrative and technical reasons. This may include the type and version of your browser, the date and time of access, and your static IP address.

This data is anonymized and used solely for statistical analysis or to improve our online services.

These anonymized data are stored separately from personal data on secure systems and cannot be linked to any individual. This ensures that your personal data is always protected.

Cookies

When visiting our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files sent by a web server to your browser and saved on your hard drive. Only the IP address is stored. This allows us to recognize your browser the next time you visit, making the website easier for you to use.

You can also use our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized again, you can disable cookies in your browser settings. Please refer to your browser’s help section for details. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of certain parts of our website.

Use of Google Analytics with Anonymization

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses “cookies” to analyze how you use the website.

Information generated by cookies, such as time, place, and frequency of your visit, including your IP address, is transferred to and stored on Google servers in the USA.

We use Google Analytics with the extension “_gat._anonymizeIp”. This means that your IP address is shortened and anonymized by Google within the EU or EEA member states.

Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, compile reports, and provide additional services related to website usage. Google may transfer this data to third parties where required by law or if the data is processed on Google’s behalf.

Google states it will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings. Note that this may affect the full functionality of our website.

Google also offers a browser add-on to opt-out of Google Analytics tracking: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

If you visit our site via a mobile device, you can disable tracking by clicking this link. This sets an opt-out cookie valid only for your browser and domain. If you clear your cookies, you’ll need to click the link again.

If you have allowed your web and app history to be linked with your Google account, Google may use this with Analytics data for remarketing across devices. This uses your authenticated Google ID (personal data) temporarily linked to Analytics data to optimize audiences.

You can disable this in your Google account under “My Account” settings.

Use of Facebook “Like” Components

We use components from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.

When you load a page with this component, your browser connects to Facebook to download the element, and Facebook is informed which specific page you visited.

If you’re logged into Facebook, Facebook associates the visit with your account. Interactions like clicking “Like” or commenting are also stored and linked to your profile. This happens even if you don’t interact with the plugin.

To prevent Facebook from tracking your visit, log out of Facebook before visiting our website. Facebook’s privacy policy provides more details: https://www.facebook.com/help/568137493302217

Browser add-ons can block Facebook plugins: http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker

An overview of Facebook plugins is available at: https://www.facebook.com/help/443483272359009

Use of Google+ Recommendation Button

We use the “+1” button from Google+, operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.

When visiting a page with the “+1” button, your browser loads the component from Google, and Google learns which page you’re visiting.

According to Google, no further data is evaluated unless you are logged into your Google account.

If logged in, Google may associate your “+1” click, IP address, and browser data with your profile. This recommendation may appear publicly in Google services like search results or ads.

To prevent this, log out of your Google account before visiting our website.

Use of YouTube in Privacy-Enhanced Mode

We embed videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube still uses cookies to collect visitor data and may connect to the Google DoubleClick network. Starting the video may trigger further data processing over which we have no control. See YouTube’s privacy policy for details: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube

Security

We use technical and administrative measures to protect your data from loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. All our staff and service providers are bound by data protection laws.

Whenever we collect or process personal data, it is encrypted before transmission. Our security measures are continually improved and our privacy policy regularly updated. Please make sure you are viewing the most current version.

Right to Information / Objection

You may request information at any time about what personal data we store about you. You may also revoke consent to data processing. Please contact us directly in either case.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update our privacy policy to reflect technological changes. Please ensure you are using the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on our website.
